SIKKERHETS FESTIVALEN, Norway’s largest cybersecurity conference | August 2024

In August 2024, I had the opportunity to participate in the “Security Festival” in Lillehammer, Norway. The conference brought together 1,500 cybersecurity experts, the majority of whom were from Norway.

I delivered a keynote speech on the topic of “The Changing Expectations, Risks, and Opportunities for Security Leadership”, co-hosted the CISO Summit, and alongside other security experts participated in two panel sessions—one on what the C-Suite should know about AI and another on the evolution of the CISO role.

I really enjoyed the deep technical and strategic conversations, the cultural immersion, and the joyfulness of a festival environment. I have never been to a conference that included all meals, live musical entertainment, and so many technical and leadership tracks. It was a great environment to learn, share, and build new relationships.
